Pleasure-Seeking Life Forms

I'm curious about the extent to which the pleasure-seeking trait common to all humans is connected to how we operate when we are perceived to be at our best.

I thought I had a clear understanding of dualistic religions until recently, so there's more for me to find out. I write that because surely there is something to the idea of also being a pain-seeking life form, but for now, I'll stick to pleasure.

In an environment devoid of pleasure, or with just very simple pleasures, people can find ways to live, but the idea of pursuing one's passion and how that leads to success comes into play. Yes, poverty can be the soil in which genius and talent grow, but the reality is that some information and some practices require so much time and investment that those in poverty have a harder time.

So for the next while, I'll be thinking about seeking pleasure and following passion...and wishing that others could do the same.

Maybe I'll get to pursue some passionate pleasure. Here's hoping you can, too.
